CONSTRUCTION

This dropped-shoulder, oversized, cropped tee is designed in a dk-weight linen yarn, which creates a loose and breathable fabric. It is worked from the top-down, with both fronts, back, and shoulders worked simultaneously through a heavily modified version of the Cocoknits and Ziggurat method. It begins at the back neck, increasing at four points similar to a raglan yoke to shape the shoulders, while simultaneously shaping the crew neckline. The back and two fronts are separated and worked in pieces, and the armholes are slightly shaped. Fronts and back are then joined again for the body to work seamlessly in the round as one piece. The garment is primarily worked in stockinette stitch and is edged simply throughout with garter stitch and a rolled edge. This garment is fitted at the neckline, oversized at the bust, and fitted at the sleeves.

Progress trackers are provided for all sizes, to keep track of stitch counts per section.

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR SIZE

This pattern is size inclusive with nine size options. Using your full bust measurement, choose a size that will give you 10-12 inches (25.5-30.5cm) of positive ease at bust (the difference between body’s smaller measurements and the garment’s larger measurements at these points). The most fool-proof method is to measure a similar fitting top in your wardrobe and choose a garment size that matches. See schematic on next page.
