Lennox Pullover

Just a quick note to let you know that the Lennox Pullover knitting pattern is now live and on sale on Ravelry and my website!

To celebrate the release, the pattern will be on sale for 50% off, from Thursday, Oct 13 to Monday, Oct 17. Use the code LENNOX on Ravelry and the website.

Here are some things I love about this pattern:

  • I love the look of reverse stockinette, but I don’t love purling. This garment is worked inside out, so that it is primarily knitted and not purled.
  • It is written for sport-weight, untreated, wool yarn, which creates my favourite light-weight fabric for pullovers.
  • If you are careful to be neat with your final finishing, it can be a reversible garment, and can be worn inside out!
  • The stitch pattern is created through knitting below the live stitch and ripping out stitches, which sounds a little scary but testers found it very enjoyable. I actually find it therapeutic to rip out a few rounds!
  • There are a few tricks I used to improve the fit of the neckline, including some strategically placed short rows. The folded over collar also adds to the “store-bought” look.
  • Although, this is not a beginner pattern, I think it creates a versatile and functional piece for any wardrobe.

This pattern comes in 9 sizes, with a very generous range of finished bust circumferences.

I hope you take a look, give it a like on Ravelry and keep knitting! Check out the tester’s projects too; they did a fantastic job on this knit.
